Terms and Conditions

We welcome you to Nyhavn63 Hotel and ask that you note our Terms and Conditions. As a Danish company, all of the business we conduct is governed by the applicable Danish laws. We provide a summary in English below for your convenience for information only. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

1. The Company

Nyhavn63 Hotel operates at the location listed above and will be referred to as ‘We’ or ‘Us’. As soon as a reservation is made, there is a contract between Nyhavn63 Hotel and the guest, to which the following Terms & Conditions apply:

2. Reservations (not including Group Bookings)

When you make a reservation online using your credit card details, you create a binding reservation. We will confirm the reservation in writing by email.

We accept only reservations made online or directly at our reception. It is not possible to book a room over the phone or email.

The following confirmation conditions apply:

The reservation can be confirmed only by providing a credit card number.

3. Your Stay

When you make a reservation with us, we commit to supply the booked beds, rooms or apartments for the dates you have booked. On the day of arrival, your bed/room/apartment will be available from the designated check in time. If you arrive earlier than this, we will try to make it possible to provide an earlier check-in, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Your reservation does not include a guarantee of a specific room, only the category booked. We kindly ask you to take note of, and to follow, our house rules for the duration of your stay at Nyhavn63 Hotel. Our hotel has a no-smoking policy.

5. Changes to your reservation

When you need to make a change to your reservation, please contact us directly and we will do our best to make it possible.

6. Cancellation Policy

For all reservations, the following conditions apply:

Cancellation policy requires guests to cancel their reservations minimum 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee equal to the first night of their booking. Deposit is not refundable.

Refunds will only be given for subsequent nights if payment has already been made and you have advised our staff "no later" than 10 am on the day "before" your revised departure date.

Online deposits, booking fees and extras (including breakfasts and tours) are non-refundable.

There may be different policies for holidays including New Year's Eve reservations; please refer to you booking confirmation for these terms and conditions.

7. Check-in

Check-in is available from 3pm. If you will be arriving later than 9pm you must prepay in order to guarantee your booking. We have private lockers you can rent.

8. Registration

It is required that all guests in Copenhagen are registered. We are therefore required to ask for an official identity card, driver’s license or passport. Without an official document of identification with a photograph, it is not possible for you to stay with us as a guest.

9. Currency

Our company is located in Copenhagen, Denmark and therefore all transactions are carried out in Danish Kroner. Our prices include all costs and taxes.

10. Law

All services are provided and paid for in Copenhagen, Denmark, and therefore Danish law applies.

11. Age Policy

Guests under the age of 18 are allowed to stay only in private rooms and only with an adult guardian.
